The Struggle is Real with AI Taking Developer Jobs
The struggle is real.
Since I’ve been out because of my multiple surgeries I have really gotten away from work. I’m looking hard but it seems like nobody’s hiring. Now this is a real struggle because I have a family, and I need to take care of them so maybe I need to look lower than a senior position. AI is really hurting developer job. It’s sad because we have worked hard to get to senior positions. When with the dev managers realize that AI code is no where near our code. We have an art because we are passionate about what we do. So, AI taking developer jobs really doesnt work for the companies.
The struggle is real.
If I take a junior position or even an entry position this is going to be a whole different ball game. I’m going to accept lower pay than what I’ve been getting and then I’d really work hard to get back to the senior position at the company. I’m tired of doing contracts and short-term work, so I need to find a place that really has a good culture and that I’d be happy to work there for years.
The struggle is real.
But I’m going to overcome it. I’m rebuilding My Portfolio, updating it with modern coding styles. I decided I’m going to keep the look of My Portfolio because honestly, it’s something that really fits me. So, let’s get it and good luck to everybody who’s looking for a position.
The struggle is real.
My last position was during my surgeries. A person that I brought in threw me under the bus and then I lost the position because he didn’t have his work done and he blamed it on me. My front-end was dope, but his backend, he was struggling to get it done before the reveal to teachers. Such a weirdo.
